The Jester Sports and Entertainment takes momentum into the new year
Poised to make an even bigger mark in the sponsorship industry in the new year, The Jester Sports and Entertainment has enjoyed a breakthrough year, growing its partnerships and building relationships between corporate brands, federations and events.
In what was a memorable year, the company managed to broker a three-year partnership between SAB and Liefde by die Dam which catapulted the popular event to new heights. With the support of the brand Flying Fish, this iconic, bi-annual festival hosts local music talent that has attracted audiences in the tens of thousands in the past. Since the new partnership, Liefde by die Dam sold out at both events held in Johannesburg at Emmarentia Dam on the 4th of August and in Cape Town at Meerendal Estate on the 12th of November 2022, where a combined total of 23 000 music lovers were in attendance.
A new partnership between the Golden Lions Rugby Union and Bestmed Medical Scheme was also brokered, giving the GLRU Referees Society the opportunity, through this sponsorship, to grow and expand on the position and status of local referees. Since April of 2022, the two brands have found value through the unique collaboration, subsequently leading to a mutual agreement to extend their partnership.
Multiple partnerships were also formed which assisted in elevating the status of South African Schools Hockey Association’s (SASHOC) National Events which took place in Stellenbosch from the 26th of June to the 18th of July. Partners that aided in delivering world-class tournaments across various age groups included Spar, Grays Hockey, and Lift Airlines. Expanding on these relationships, the 2023 National Hockey Events that will be held in Bloemfontein from the 25th of June to the 12th of July next year promise to be even more spectacular as new brands look to join the federation’s current partners.
